COVID-19 Procedures and Expectations
The following procedures and expectations must be followed to continue to offer dance classes and to ensure a safe environment for our dancers and staff.
- All dancers MUST register online for class. No drop-ins will be allowed.
- All dancers taking a Fall 2020 class must sign the 2020 Point B Dance relase form AND the COVID-19 screening survey (EVERYONE will need to sign these forms). These forms may be found on the Point B Dance website - see below for links. The completed forms may be emailed to info@pointbdance.com or brought to the studio on the day of the class. If a dancer does not have a release form AND a COVID-19 screening form on file, they will not be allowed to take class.
- Classes will be limited to 15 dancers.
- Temperatures will be taken with a touchless thermometer upon entering the studio.
- Hand sanitizer will be available for dancers to use as they enter the studio.
- Dancers MUST adhere to social distancing while in the studio.
- Designated areas for dancers’ belongings will be spaced out 6 feet apart along the perimeter of the dance space to store personal belongings during class. Please keep your belongings to a minimum.
- The dance floor will be marked so that dancers will remain in their own dance space allowing for the 6 feet of social distancing.
- No contact improvisation will be allowed.
- Cleaning and disinfecting will be a priority, and we will ask dancers to clean their areas at the end of class which includes but is not limited to their personal space on the floor as well as the area where their belongings were kept.
- Masks should be worn on the premises unless a health or psychological condition precludes wearing a mask.
- High touch surfaces are sanitized regularly.
